This spacious venue features a 20’ x 30’ built-in performance stage with front lighting, perfect for live entertainment, presentations, or ceremonies. An attached full-service kitchen ensures seamless catering for any occasion, while two dedicated wedding party salons provide private spaces for bridal preparations or VIP needs. The second floor includes four additional meeting rooms, ideal for breakout sessions, workshops, or childcare areas during larger events. With the capacity to host up to 2,500 guests in a theater-style setup or 1,800 guests for a banquet, Valdez Hall is a premier choice for large-scale gatherings.

Valdez Hall is particularly well-suited for weddings, offering a unique and elegant space to celebrate one of life’s most cherished moments. For even larger events, the Fresno Convention Center offers additional space, including a 66,000-square-foot exhibit hall and an 11,000-square-foot pre-function lobby, ideal for cocktail parties or pre-event gatherings. Working with a trusted supplier network, Valdez Hall can be transformed into a dream wedding venue, complete with childcare areas, bridal preparation rooms, and a full-service kitchen to deliver an unforgettable dining experience. The exclusive catering partner, Pardini’s Catering, offers an extensive menu and professional staff to ensure every event is executed with creativity, elegance, and elevated taste.

A 14’ x 14’ truck entry with roll-up doors provides easy access for event setup, while the venue’s flexible layout accommodates everything from community events and expositions to concerts, banquets, and social functions.

Marc Solis

Marc Solis serves as Executive Director of the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center (FCEC), providing executive leadership for Valdez Hall and the broader campus that includes the Fresno Convention Center, Saroyan Theatre, and Selland Arena. With more than 25 years of senior leadership in public assembly facilities, Marc brings a proven record of opening and operating major venues, strengthening financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across conventions, meetings, sports, and live entertainment.

Marc’s background includes extensive new facility and capital project leadership, having opened and managed Toyota Field (San Antonio), the American Bank Center (Corpus Christi), and the Laredo Entertainment Center, and previously managing the 65,000-seat Alamodome. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of Bert Ogden Arena and H-E-B Park in Edinburg, Texas, guiding two new facilities through launch and full-scale operations. As General Manager of State Farm Arena, he helped the venue achieve one of its strongest years and earn recognition in Pollstar’s Top 100 Arenas worldwide.

For Valdez Hall, Marc’s priorities include strengthening client service standards for meetings, banquets, and special events, supporting convention sales growth and repeat business, and ensuring seamless event execution for planners and guests—while advancing the FCEC’s broader goals of deepening downtown Fresno partnerships and expanding community programming across the campus. Known for building durable relationships with promoters, CVBs, vendors, tenants, and civic leaders, Marc is active with IAVM, IEBA, IPA, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
