ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids stands as a beacon of excellence in sports and recreational activities, proudly serving the Cedar Rapids community for over 20 years. This state-of-the-art facility features two sheets of ice; an NHL Arena with seats 4,200 spectators ideal for hockey, public skating, figure skating, and speed skating, and an Olympic Rink. This larger rink seats 200 and offers additional space for a variety of ice sports and private events. ImOn Ice Arena is the home of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders a USHL Junior Hockey Franchise. The facility has state of the art amenities, including eight team locker rooms, two official’s locker rooms, a fully equipped press box and parking for 1400 vehicles. The ImOn Ice Arena has a prestigious history of hosting national and international events, showcasing its versatility and excellence. ImOn Ice Arena is more than just a sports venue; it is a hub for community engagement and development. The arena offers a wide range of programs designed to involve residents and foster a love for ice sports.

General Manager
Tonya Frost
Tonya Frost is the General Manager of the ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. From 2014 to 2020, she was the Director of Events at the arena, orchestrating a range of successful events. Her tenure faced challenges during 2020-2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and derecho, which closed the building for construction.
In 2022 Tonya became Interim General Manager, guiding operations during a key transition. Her dedication and leadership were further acknowledged in 2023 when she was appointed General Manager, a role she continues to hold. Tonya enjoys the diverse interactions at ImOn Ice Arena, engaging with everyone from first-time Learn to Skate enthusiasts to long-time RoughRiders season ticket holders. She excels in her behind-the-scenes work, crafting memorable experiences and ensuring the success of various events and programs.
Outside of her professional achievements, Tonya Frost cherishes her time with family and friends, particularly enjoying moments spent cheering on her nephews and niece.
