Marc Solis serves as Executive Director of the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center (FCEC), providing executive leadership for Selland Arena and the broader campus that includes the Fresno Convention Center, Saroyan Theatre, and Valdez Hall. With more than 25 years of senior leadership in public assembly facilities, Marc brings a proven record of opening and operating major venues, strengthening financial performance, and delivering exceptional guest experiences across sports, live entertainment, and convention environments.
Marc’s background includes extensive new facility and capital project leadership, having opened and managed Toyota Field (San Antonio), the American Bank Center (Corpus Christi), and the Laredo Entertainment Center, and previously managing the 65,000-seat Alamodome. Most recently, he served as President & CEO of Bert Ogden Arena and H-E-B Park in Edinburg, Texas, guiding two new facilities through launch and full-scale operations. As General Manager of State Farm Arena, he helped the venue achieve one of its strongest years and earn recognition in Pollstar’s Top 100 Arenas worldwide.
At Selland Arena, Marc’s priorities include strengthening event and booking performance, elevating service standards for promoters and patrons, and expanding community-focused programming—while advancing the FCEC’s broader goals of growing convention and event sales and deepening downtown Fresno partnerships. Known for building durable relationships with promoters, agents, leagues, CVBs, civic leaders, vendors, and tenants, Marc is active with IAVM, IEBA, IPA, and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
