Located on the north side of the Wichita metro, Heartland Credit Union Arena is a 6,500-seat, multi-purpose facility with 15 acres of on-site parking. Heartland Credit Union Arena is uniquely configured to ensure that there isn't a bad seat in the house. The goal is not merely to have audiences watch a show, but to truly experience it. The arena is both fun and functional with flexible configurations that accommodate 6,500 seats for concerts, 5,500 for family shows, 5,000 for sporting events, and 200 10' x 10' booths for trade shows. Heartland Credit Union Arena is the home ground of Wichita Wings and Wichita Lady Luck Indoor Soccer Teams.
With direct interstate access, over 2,400 free on-site parking spots, an 85,000 lb rigging capacity, ample restrooms, wide concourses, Heartland Credit Union Arena is equipped to handle a variety of events. Its state-of-the-art in-house ticketing system, full-service in-house advertising agency and an in-house promotions company ensure well produced events and memorable experiences for all. The arena has hosted a range of concerts including Alan Jackson, Slipknot, Luke Bryan, New Kids on the Block, and The Beach Boys. Other shows, such as monster trucks, Thomas and Friends Live, The Xtreme Outdoor Expo, Wrangler Pro Rodeo, Alice Cooper, and many more, have also been part of Heartland Credit Union Arena’s event list.

With a passion for creating memorable events and a track record of driving venue growth, Ben Bolander is an experienced leader in sports management and event coordination. Holding a Master's degree in Sports Management and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northern Illinois University, Ben has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and professional dedication.
As the Executive Director at Heartland Credit Union Arena, Ben has successfully transformed the venue into a bustling hub, increasing attendance from 57,000 to 169,000 annually. This achievement is a testament to Ben's expertise in strategic planning, innovative event curation, and building valuable relationships within the industry.
His previous role as General Manager at VenuWorks, Victory Theatre, saw him negotiate contracts and establish marketing strategies that significantly increased revenues in the first year. Prior to this, Ben served as Associate Director at VenuWorks, Toyota Center, where his leadership reduced operating subsidies and increased annual events from 43 to 222.
Ben is an active member of the International Association of Venue Managers and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters. He's also involved in nurturing future talent, coaching junior hockey and serving on professional fraternity boards.
Renowned for exceptional crowd management and guest services abilities, Ben excels in planning and executing large-scale events that leave a lasting impact. His commitment to collaboration and community engagement shines through in every project he undertakes, ensuring both clients and guests experience superior service and satisfaction.
