When Broadway's Rock of Ages Band took the stage at Oshkosh Arena this past October, the audience was filled with more than just music lovers. Veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders sat in prime seats, experiencing a night of entertainment that strengthened family bonds and fostered community connections. This powerful evening exemplifies how strategic partnerships can create meaningful veteran support while enriching our communities.

What is VetTix?

VenuWorks venues across the United States have formed a vital partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (VetTix), demonstrating how community engagement can honor those who have served our nation. The Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to honoring veterans, currently serving military members, and first responders. Since its founding in 2008, Vet Tix has become the largest non-federally funded veteran service organization in the United States. Its mission is to provide free tickets to sporting events, concerts, performing arts, and other family activities.

The goal is simple yet profound: to help reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, and encourage community engagement. By providing these opportunities, Vet Tix helps create positive memories and supports the well-being of service members and their families.

A Partnership in Action: Oshkosh Arena

This past October 18th, we were thrilled to welcome a group of veterans and their families to see the Broadway Rock of Ages Band. By donating tickets to this high-energy show, we provided a memorable night out for those who have given so much.
