VenuWorks Brings Expertise and Innovation to Oshkosh Arena, Promising Enhanced Community Engagement and Operational Excellence Under New Leadership

VenuWorks, a recognized leader in facility management, will begin its new role overseeing the operations of Oshkosh Arena beginning September 12th, 2024. This NBA-standard venue in Wisconsin, with a seating capacity of 4,500, serves as the home for the Wisconsin Herd, the Milwaukee Bucks' NBA G-League affiliate. Offering a comprehensive array of features, the arena boasts state-of-the-art audio-visual systems, extensive power resources, on-site catering with a dedicated chef, and streamlined load-in/out facilities.

Stepping into the role of Executive Director is Andy Linton, who will spearhead VenuWorks’ management of both operational and food and beverage services. With a proven track record as the Associate Executive Director at the VenuWorks-managed Pelham Civic Complex in Alabama, Andy is set to begin his new leadership role on September 9th.

VenuWorks brings nearly three decades of expertise in managing a diverse range of venues including arenas, stadiums, convention centers, performing arts centers, and community spaces. Renowned for its integrity, accountability, and a strong focus on community, VenuWorks transforms venues into bustling hubs of activity and engagement.

A Promising New Chapter

VenuWorks is committed to enhancing the operational excellence and community engagement at Oshkosh Arena. Under Andy Linton's capable leadership, the arena is set to thrive as a center for sports, entertainment, and community events.

Currently managing ten arenas, VenuWorks excels in collaborating with resident sports teams and hosting diverse sports franchises. From the University of Evansville Purple Aces basketball teams at the Ford Center in Evansville to the Tri-City Americans in the Toyota Center in Kennewick, and from the Kansas State Basketball Tournament in the United Wireless Arena in Dodge City to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders at the ImOn Ice Arena in Cedar Rapids, VenuWorks understands the unique needs of each team. The company also owns a Southern Professional Hockey League franchise, the Thunderbolts, playing at the Ford Center in Evansville, IN.

Additionally, VenuWorks Presents, guided by John Gimenez, VP of Event Programming and Content, books over 300 concerts and entertainment attractions each year. The department's ability to leverage an extensive network of promoters and agents allows them to secure top-tier events transforming venues into vibrant centers that attract diverse audiences.
