The Three Rivers Convention Center Expansion Begins

March 25th 2025 saw the groundbreaking for the expansion of the VenuWorks managed Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick, WA, marking a monumental step forward for the entire community. This project is set to deliver incredible benefits and opportunities for the Tri-Cities area adding:

60,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space
5,000 sq. ft. of meeting rooms
An extended lobby and a state-of-the-art kitchen

The newly expanded Three Rivers Convention Center is projected to host 200,000 attendees annually, boost the local economy by $130.8 million and contribute $6.9 million in tax revenues. With no new taxes for Tri-City residents, this is truly a win for everyone.

Additionally, the construction of a 162-room hotel by A-1 Pearl, beginning in April 2025, will further enhance visitor accommodations.
