Michael Silva serves as the Chief Operating Officer of VenuWorks, bringing over 25 years of expertise in managing public assembly facilities. His extensive background encompasses oversight of arenas, amphitheaters, performing arts centers, and convention centers in both primary and secondary markets across the Midwest.

Before assuming the role of COO, Michael spent nearly a decade managing all VenuWorks facilities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. As Executive Director, he oversaw multiple venues, including the Alliant Energy PowerHouse, Paramount Theatre, McGrath Amphitheatre, and the ImOn Ice Arena. In 2018, he expanded his responsibilities by leading the Cedar Rapids Tourism Office, where he directed the Convention and Visitors Bureau, further contributing to the city’s growth and development.

Now, as COO of VenuWorks, Michael is responsible for the management of more than 20 operating locations, which collectively include over 50 individual facilities. His broad expertise spans key areas of venue operations, including booking, marketing, guest services, food and beverage, sales and sponsorship, finance, and ticketing. Michael’s leadership underscores VenuWorks’ commitment to operational excellence and community-focused venue management.
