Leanna Showman serves as the Corporate Accountant at VenuWorks, where she plays a critical role in overseeing accounting functions and preparing the company’s corporate financial statements with precision and care.

Leanna earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from Central College, laying a strong foundation for her career in finance. Before joining VenuWorks in February 2016, she honed her expertise as a Senior Auditor for the Office of the Auditor of State. There, she conducted financial and compliance audits for governmental entities, gaining invaluable experience in ensuring transparency and accuracy.

At VenuWorks, Leanna's commitment to excellence has made her an integral part of the team, contributing to the company's financial stability and operational success. Beyond her professional achievements, Leanna is a proud mother of four young children who keep her busy with all of their activities. Together, her family shares a passion for cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones, watching musicals, and completing puzzles.
