Dave Stow brings over 32 years of expertise in sports facility management, event operations, and venue development, with an impressive track record of leadership across national and international platforms. His career includes pivotal contributions to eight Olympic Games, two Pan American Games, three Super Bowls, and numerous Olympic Trials, World Cups, and international sporting events.
During his 21 years with the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Dave oversaw operations at the 150-acre U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, CA, managing world-class venues for sports like Archery, BMX, Field Hockey, Soccer, Softball, Rugby and Track & Field. He also coordinated with off-site venues for sports like Gymnastics, Swimming, and Volleyball.
One of Dave’s notable achievements includes spearheading the integration of BMX Cycling racing into the Olympics. He led the development of two Olympic BMX replica tracks for elite training and competition, along with a development track fostering national youth programs through USA BMX. His contributions extended to hosting BMX Olympic Trials and six UCI BMX World Cups, as well as high-profile international events in Archery, Field Hockey, Rugby, Soccer, Softball and Track & Field.
As President and CEO of the TBK Bank Sports Complex in Bettendorf, Iowa, Dave oversaw the 75-acre multi-sport facility, nurturing its growth into a premier hub for baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and fitness. Despite challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Dave led a successful overhaul of operations, streamlining efficiency and expanding the facility’s footprint with new venues, entertainment spaces, and dining establishments.
Throughout his career, Dave has forged strong partnerships with National Governing Bodies, youth sports organizations, and private operators, fostering programs that enhance the recreational experience and drive community impact. His leadership and vision continue to shape venues and events that inspire excellence in athletes, teams, and fans alike.
