Vice President of Human Resources

Angela Bohlen serves as the Vice President of Human Resources at VenuWorks, where she is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters. She directs the administration, coordination, and evaluation of all human resource functions, providing strategic leadership and expertise in organizational development, recruitment, and payroll. Angela also acts as the primary liaison with VenuWorks’ HR partner, Aureon HR, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective resource management. 

With a professional background spanning industries such as staffing, finance, and insurance, Angela brings extensive experience in human resource management and development. Known for her meticulous organization, strategic thinking, and communication skills, she has a proven track record of building trusted partnerships and addressing issues across all organizational levels with respect and effectiveness. Angela’s practical approach and dedication to her craft make her an invaluable resource to her colleagues and leadership team alike. 

 
Angela pursued her education at Des Moines Area Community College and the Minnesota School of Business, focusing on Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resource Management. She holds a PHR certification and is an active member of various HR communities, staying ahead of evolving employment policies and best practices. 

 
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Angela resides in Runnells, Iowa, near her family farm, where she cherishes both her community and her roots.
