It may not be the bright lights of Broadway, but the shows will go on at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, Wash., during the 2007-2008 theater season. Jam Theatricals and VenuWorks will present six Broadway experiences during the 2007-2008 season. The Toyota Center serves the Tri-Cities area, including Kennewick, Pasco and Richland, Wash and is managed by VenuWorks.
The Toyota Center recently hosted a "Meet Your Seat" function that attracted more than 200 current and potential Broadway series subscribers. They were allowed to select the seats they wanted for the upcoming season.
"We were pleased by the turnout and excitement generated by this event," said Jam Theatricals Marketing Director, Lori Ravis. "This is just the beginning to an outstanding inaugural Broadway season."
The series includes concerts by B.B. King, Marie Osmond and Mannheim Steamroller, and the theatrical productions Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray and Rent.
